Mental Health Coaching
Coaching for depression and anxiety is a new approach but one that has been tried and tested. It is designed to replace negative and unhelpful thughts and behaviours with more positive thinking, feelings and actions that help the client move on to lead a more mentally healthier life. The coaching process can be arranged either as one-to-one sessions or through the specially designed modular programme available from Coaching Interactive.
Individual one-to-sessions last an hour and can be as regular as once per week or at interval to suit the client.
The Coaching for Depression and Anxiety progamme available through Coaching Interactive is available 24/7 and interaction with me, the coach, is at least once per week.
Programme Overview
Personal Questionnaire: This will enable your personal coach to get to know you and to tailor suitable interactive sessions for you and your mental health.
General Mental Health Questionnaire: This will allow your personal coach to get to understand more about your mental health and respond accordingly in later sessions.
Do I Really Need to Change?: This will ask you some fundamental questions about where you are now in your life and stimulate you into seeking the change you require.
My Life: Create your mental health map by examining where you are currently in each area. You will be requested to clearly define your dreams and the meaning of the fulfilment of the dreams. You will then be guided to consider what to do, in order to achieve your goals.
Your Goals: You will get in touch with your calling, the reason why you are here.
Your Values: You will be guided to define your values, those qualities that render something desirable or you regard highly.
Personal Vision: You will be guided to define your vision, once you have clarity you can make better decisions in order to reach your goals.
Set Goals and Objectives: Choose the subject you wish to focus on first, build a programme with goals and objectives for short, medium or long term.
Three Easy Steps For Positive Thinking: Separating fact from fiction, stop auto-thinking and letting go.
Progress Report: You will be guided to routinely assess and report your progress to yourself and your coach.
Summary: Complete the questionnaire and converse with your coach on the process you have undergone and the impact it has had. An invitation will follow to further grow using a specific coaching programme tailored for you by your coach.
Pace: Most of the growth in coaching occurs between sessions. It is thus advisable to proceed to the next phase only after you receive a response from your coach. The effective pace will take a few days per each main interactive session.
Communications: To get in touch with your coach in 1:1 coaching you may choose between phone calls, skype, MSN messenger or personal meetings. However written correspondence should best be done via the system. Here a record is kept and progress can be later analysed by yourself and the coach.
